> Popcorn Pumper
Popcorn Pumper
Why doesn’t the popcorn pop?
The popcorn may be old or dried out. What makes kernels pop is moisture in the kernel.
Helpful Hint:
Place a teaspoon of water in a plastic bag with your popcorn and place in the refrigerator overnight -- this will "refresh" it.
Is it normal for some of the kernels to NOT pop?
Yes, a few unpopped kernels may come out with the popped corn.
Does the unit get warm on the outside?
Yes, this is normal.
Is it normal to see a spark when the unit is unplugged?
Yes, this is called arching and is normal for a unit that doesn't have an on/off switch.
Do I have to place the butter cup on top of the unit before using?
Yes, this will allow the popcorn to exit out of the chute.
