Open-Face Hot Turkey Sandwiches

  •   Basic Waffles
  • 8 to 12 slices cooked turkey
  • 3 to 4 cups mashed potatoes, heated
  • 1 can (15 oonuces) turkey gravy, heated


  1. Prepare Basic Waffles recipe.
  2. Place waffles on serving plates.
  3. Top with turkey slices, mashed potatoes and gravy.
  4. Serve immediately.

Serves: 4

TEST KITCHEN TIPS: Waffles can be frozen and then reheated. Make a large batch ahead of time and let cool on a cooling rack. Freeze in airtight storage bags then heat in an oven or microwave.
