Sweet Almond Chaffles
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups shredded, part-skim mozzarella cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- Confectioners’ sugar, for garnish
Directions
- Preheat Petite Waffle Maker.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together almond flour and sugar. Add cheese, eggs, and almond extract and mix until well combined.
- Place 3 tablespoons mixture onto waffle maker and cook for 2 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from waffle maker and garnish with a sprinkle of confectioners’ sugar. Serve immediately.
Makes: 5 to 6 chaffles
